Occupational Therapist (OT) – PRN | Home Health – Dover, TN & Surrounding Counties

What You’ll Do

  • Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with the physician’s plan of care and state practice guidelines
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and establish functional goals to improve patient independence
  • Communicate plans of care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
  • Teach new skills or retrain patients in activities of daily living impacted by illness or injury
  • Fabricate splints and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment to enhance function
  • Train patients in the use of prosthetic and orthotic devices as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including notes, reports, and updates to patient status
  • Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and care team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
  • Current registration through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) and licensed in the state of practice
  • At least two (2) years of clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current automobile insurance
